Raw and authentic is slowly becoming rare. With every artist almost mimicking other artists to gain clout or rather 'blow up', originality is slowly fading out. However one artist is challenging that, Edward Moiane who is known as D Maeja chooses to stay real. He started perfected his art from the age 13, and he has not stopped. In addition, 2015 was the year he decided to collaborate with artists from his neighborhood to release 'Thirsty' which was produced by him. Inspired by the likes of Kanye West and Lil-Wayne he is focused refining his sound and adding more versatility. With time D-Maeja has grown and mastered his
lyrical capabilities as well as production. Rapper, Singer, Composer, Producer, Mixing Engineer and Entrepreneur is there anything that he can't do.
He is an authentic artist with a calling to inspire artists to embrace their originality. There are needs to be flowers given and I believe he deserves them.
