Gyre started his musical career at the age of 12 and he continues to pursue his musical career. In addition, he started his rap sound at university at the age of 20 and a queer rapper which is quite rare in a more masculine dominated arena. At the age of 21, it was more of a pass time however by the time he turned 23 he pursed it full on and it did have its challenges but worth it in the end. He is inspired by the normal day to day experiences that he goes through, the good days as well as the not so good days. As he evolves in his music, he wants to create a legacy that he hopes that artists who feel restricted in being themselves can be true to who they are. As his creative muses are Queen and Thandiswa Mazwai he is inspired by any sound really as long as it is authentic. This year he plans to release his single 'Kithi La' which will be in his Gyrenation mixtape which he considers a love letter to his fans. Lastly be prepared for his project Queer Age which is on the way.
