Afrika Initially started her musical journey at the age of 11, being active in choir and just having a genuine intuition that she was born to make music. In addition, her pen game began to blossom when she was in high school, even though she was still a little bit shy. During her varsity years she got a deeper understanding of her craft and started going for studio sessions were she got used to environment until it became her peaceful sanctuary. In terms of her musical inspirations, she firstly loves the sound of female vocalists in general. The different types of ranges, and textures and overall quality of music. The likes of Anita Baker and Brandy truly bring out there creativeness in her music. In terms of her plans for 2022, she will definetely be pushing the streaming numbers of her first project "Toro". As the year progresses, there will be two more projects that will be dropped, and will be a continuation of Toro. Secondly, she will definetely be working on her brand as well because she wants to be a force to be reckoned with in the industry, and of course with an organic fan base which will adore her awesome personality.
