AMARI

Amari started penning down his lyrics at the age of 16 years, and till this day his technical rap abilities are flawless. In addition, when he first walked into the studio it was about 2004 although he was still figuring out his sound/style and also getting a basic understanding of the music industry. In 2007 it is safe to say that he was now officially ready to take the rap game to a new level or rather a new vibration. In 2012 he debuted his first mixtape and till this day he puts a touch of soul and knowledge in his music. He is inspired by the likes of Nas, Rakim, Wu Tang Clan, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and many others in the industry. Not forgetting other individuals who have contributed to his knowledge of self and others are the likes of Malcolm X, Dr Sebi and Louis Farakhan. Nature and life amuses him and how he learns so many valuable lessons from things that people think is trivial. This year his plans for the year are simple to promote his album 'Grand Rising' which is available on all DSP. To work on features with other artists in terms of projects and drop singles.
