DOT WORLDWIDE: REAL RnB TALES

The RnB genre in South Africa is one that seems to be neglected in subtle ways. In addition, whilst Hip-Hop is not at its prime at the moment due to Amapiano causing havoc and holding down the radio slots, one needs to realize this is the opportunity for Hip-Hop and RnB artists to rebrand and release authentic sounds which will draw people's attention. The RnB artist I want to mention understands the importance of reviving this smooth sound which will make the ladies say and do somethings in the bedroom if you know what I mean. Gcina Nkula aka Dotcom is a true connoisseur of the genre, with industry experience to his name he truly believes that the day South Africa finds its own original sound is the day more people will open up to it. Rapper, singer and dancer there is nothing he cannot do, pure talent at best. The originator of the 'Thug n B' sound has had a number of hits from his song' Izapha' featuring Cassper Nyovest to his album 'Love and Liquor' it has been nothing but steady growth.

In 2019, he released 'Thoughts in Melody' to show case his vocal abilities whilst playing with sexual innuendos. Lastly this year 2021 he promises to serenade his audience with memorable songs, and also ensure the melodies are smooth and refined. The sunset sessions are intermate way of showing his fans that he is determined to release quality music and keep them captivated.

Below is a taste of his sound:
