Music without an amazing production really is just allowing the ship to sink. I believe that most artists actually thrive due to the type of producers that they collaborate with. J-Steph is an artist and producer who has a deep understanding of the importance of quality sound. J-Steph real name Josh Pickering who is residing in Arizona at the moment is an artist/Producer who is on a path to create a fresh sound inspired by West Coast style beats. He started playing guitar and learning about music from the age 9 and he has not stopped till this day. In addition he further joined a band in high school, more of the hardcore rock with all the screaming and vocal work. Few years later in college he developed a sweet tooth for country music for a while. 2016 was the year when he started producing beats for himself and in a way it helped to really tap into his potential. The breakout year for J-Steph was in 2017 when he actually started rapping, and collaborating with other artists as well. He is truly inspired by the likes of Mac Miller, G-Eazy, We came as romans and city and colour. Honestly listening to his new single ' Make it' I believe its a genuinely good song, do I believe as an artist he will be big, absolutely. Definitely look out for J-Steph and his music
