Gailana has been a song bird her whole life, writing music and constantly working on her sound. The song she wrote and released last year titled 'Tiger' she instinctively knew that its the song that her fans will really hear her roar, and it was accompanied with stunning visuals. In addition, she is inspired by the likes of Drake and Kanye West and with specific reasons. Firstly Drake is the current generation's relevant artist who has amassed numerous awards, back to back hits as well as many number one top charting singles. Secondly, Kanye West is an artist that values creativity and longevity. A true genius who has his hands in the fashion scene with his collaboration with Adidas as well as an upcoming fashion line with Walmart. Moreover, she believes that with all the battles that she has faced, setbacks and mistakes she will inspire people and women to do what they love and chase it by any means necessary. Food for thought, she shares the same star sign and both her and Kanye have been in horrific car accidents and have survived to tell the tale. This year, she plans to release her track 'Sweeter than Honey' along with a few singles before she drops her EP in spring so please be on the lookout.
