illRow has released his much anticipated EP which is titled "Medi-Kasi" and it is a certified classic project which really needs more airplay in my opinion. He has always been a rapper/artist that has spoke truth in his bars and never shied away from highlighting his personal struggles and those of his community. This project which was co-produced by Shaney Jay was created to bring out the commercial energy to it and just to make it an all out vibey project. It also features another renowned Afrikaans rap artist by the name of Mr. Heinz who literally spazzed on the track he featured on and left no prisoners. If you are curious about the hip-hop scene in Cape Town, listening to this project is definetely a great start. The project as whole is definetely worth the listen, check it out on all streaming platforms. Below is the cover art for the project:
