JADE SASSE



Jade Sasse is an artist that we can say is a musical protégé in a sense that she grew up in a musical home and she always had the itchy ear for music. Musical plays and watching plays has always been a part of her life. In addition, she grew up in a church going environment but it was when she received her first violin at the age of five as a gift from her grand father that is when her journey was unfolding. At the age of seven she started mastering her violin whilst writing her own music, recording and singing at the same time. Moreover, she used her music to heal from her past pain (family matters). Her lyrical talent grew as she progressed as an artist and when she was experimenting on her vocals. During lunch she would allow her curiosity to get the best of her so she and her friend would go to the studio and record some music. She has always known in her heart that music is her calling and that she will stand by it. Last year she decided to take her sound to the studio despite juggling music and school. In terms of her inspirations she is drawn to a few artists but her first is Jhene Aiko, especially her sound, flow, her runs as well as how she uses her sound bowls in her music. Her second choice would be Kehlani especially how she is able to flow on any sound. If she had to go old school her other inspirations would be the likes of Brandy, Boy II Men, Monica, Michael Jackson and The Temptations. This year her plans are just about releasing music before the year ends. She released her first song "You Say" in August. In addition, she will be releasing another single in December but we will have to wait for the date (😭) Lastly, next year she is taking over as she plans to release her EP and she is not taking any prisoners at all!
