Jemapelle James started entering music from grade 6 although it was just to pass the time when blackberries (Phone) were still the in thing. In 2016, that is when he decided to really take music by the horns and move forward despite not being sure which direction to take. In addition, in 2019 was the breakout year when he released his solo project and it was received quite well and his fans believed that he brought something different to the game. In addition, in terms of his inspirations, it genuinely depends on the mood, the energy during the day and as well as what he is feeling. So there are no precise artists that he is inspired by however Drake and Masego do spark creative juices from time to time. To add, he is also inspired by himself in terms of his growth, maturing of his sound and just the overall character development of himself and were he envisions his next path. This year he is simply planning on working on a project even though its untitled, ensuring that he grows his network. Not forgetting making cover songs on Instagram, his stance is that let everything flow naturally. Expect visuals, and an honest body of work which will capture his emotions and keeping it real raw and true with us his fans.
