K.I.D MAGIC

K.I.D Magic aka TheKid is an artist and producer who hails from the City of Cape Town who has a touch of musical genius within him. In addition, growing up in the household with Jazz being the main sound and VH1 was the main channel that mattered in the house which played nostalgic music all day everyday. He always believes that music chose him at a crucial point in his life, even though he has had the opportunity to learn more music, he wanted a particular sound like the West Coast (LA) sound which thrives on melodies and choruses. During his college years he decided to network and meet with people in the music industry, performing live and just growing in every aspect as an artist. His first radio opportunity was with a group called LNK and it was showcased on the "For The Cape". In terms of his musical inspirations, he is drawn to the likes of Lil Wayne, J Cole, Dr Dre, Rick Rubin, AKA, Emtee and many more both international and local alike. All of the different sounds he has heard lead him to release his own body of work titled “Student of The Game” which was released in 2019. The year 2022 for the artist is promising as he focusing on releasing his projects this year as well as continue to push the boundaries with his company Gawd Squad Entertainment (PTY) ltd alongside his partners FiXion and Dj Troy, which will be accompanied with new music and visuals.
