KECH VIBES



Kech Vibes initially started her musical journey in high school and till this day she lets her vocals do the heavy lifting. She considered herself as a shy person but when it comes to music she could be herself and just fully let loose. All of this began with covers from the likes of Drake, Rihanna and Jhene Aiko to her making her own music (talk about consistency and growth). In terms of her musical inspirations she is drawn to the underdogs and the outliers such as Missy Elliot, Erykah Badu, Aaliyah, Outkast, The Neptunes, Lil Wayne and Destiny’s Child. She has her roots in RnB as well as Hip-hop and one artist that this generation has impressed her is none other than Tyler The Creator. In terms of her plans for 2022, she simply wants to enjoy her creative space as she is writing more and working on trying new production styles and flows. The idea for her is to release quality music and for that she is soaking in all of the creative energy. In addition, her thoughts on mental health are sincere as she states that is important that you come first. At times she may get overbooked and busy the whole day, she makes sure that she steps back and refocuses whilst showing a bit of self-love. Moreover, she encourages people to take a breather and reflect more. Please do stream and share her music, she is truly a sweet soul.
