KHENJI

Khenji is a 22 year old hip-hop artist that hails from the Township of Alexandra and he continues to rep his hood and the culture as well. His real name Thato Mashigo is interested in one thing and one thing only, to kill the game and show the industry that Alex still creates the best talents. In addition, he started rapping in 2013 when is older brother (Spunky Galaxy) saw potential in him and encouraged him to be a part of the rap culture and movement. The year 2017 was his breakout year as he released his first project which was titled “The Commencement “ and it was enough to cause shock waves in the hip-hop and SoundCloud space and to top it all of he learnt how to create his own music. To add, as time went on he decided to drop a few projects such as Astronomy, Astronomy Deluxe and

one (Ep) which he believes have the god touch on all projects. In terms of his inspirations he is inspired by the likes of Lil Wayne , Kendrick Lamar , slick Rick and champion Jack Dupree. This year his plans are direct as he simply wants to drop a project with Spunky Galaxy which is titled “PART 1” and when they join forces they are called “The Theory “. We save the best for last as Khenji is set to drop next year and he promises his fans that it will be nothing but a mystical project.
