KOOLESTBEAR GOT THE NEW WAVE GAME FOREVER


An artist that appreciates the finer details in their art are to be respected and admired. An artist that I will be blogging about is no stranger to visual communication which he combines with his music. KoolestBear was born and raised in the Nothern Cape, Upington. He started the rap game in 2009 and has continued to refine his craft. In addition, the young star was given the opportunity to grow his brand around the Northen Cape. 2019 was the year KoolestBear was given the opportunity to tour around Northern Cape to show case his capabilities. From the tour, he truly did have an epiphany that he was born for the industry, the impact he wants to make keeps him motivated and ambitious for the goal. March 2020 he debuted his first project called 'Ice Cubes'. The audience engaged with his work, they loved it and it definitely caught the right waves . He decided to take a leap of faith and released a second body of work called Winter EP in June 2020. Just like the first body of work, his project got received very well and it got the right waves and a wonderful rotation on radio. He comes from a family of musically gifted members particularly his sister. Nostalgic moments of his sister who used to sing whilst she did her chores used to intrigue him, or rather inspire him. Moreover, being intrigued by his sister's talent, he decided to start rapping. The spontaneous energy, and the process of putting together the creative ideas have allowed him to release outstanding music. He is truly inspired by the things he has seen, his memories and watching his sister humming all add up to who he is as an artist and a person.
