LIL DERIK

Lil Derik started making music in 2012 with his first track and from then on he never looked back since then. He had a humble beginning when he started rapping with his high school crew which was called Take Off Ent and even though they released music and videos they were mostly underground then. In 2016 that is when he decided to take a leap of faith and release his first mixtape. 2018 was the breakout year when he released his project “Huey vs Riley: The Mixtape” on all streaming platforms, ever since then he has been learning more about the music industry and growing more as an artist. In terms of his inspirations his family , have been supporting him and encouraging him to keep moving forward. He has allows wanted to give them their hearts desires and that is why he always goes harder in his music everyday. Whereas the musical inspirations are the likes of J. Cole, 2 Pac, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, & Drake and the artists that are on rotation are Larry June, Curren$y, & Nas. The plans for 2022 are direct as he plans to drop new music every month, as well as a new single, EP or an album which will be coupled with stunning visuals. Expect a collaboration with fellow Bay area producer Dope Sean, the title of the EP will be called "Wintertime in the Bay". August will be the busiest month for him as he wants to release a lot of music for the fans. Please do stream and share his music, let's make 2022 his year.
