LUNAR RUE

Lunar Rue has dropped a new tape titled “Nightwatch” and the intro is nothing short of perfect. Nightwatch is a versatile rap album with something for fans of each ‘style’ of hip hop. The intro “Normal II” is probably the most introspective track on the album. The track sees him looking back at life and all the stuff he’s been through at school. In addition, he has also promised his mum that he’ll probably go back in a year or two if his career doesn’t work out but with the quality of this album, Lunar is sure to blow up. Moreover, he also uses this song to tell us that he is trying to show his future kids what it is to follow their dreams and how big they can be. To add, the first verse all in all just sees Lunar questioning things and at the same time looking at what the future might hold for him. The second verse on the other hand shows Lunar just going on a bar frenzy. The intricate rhyme schemes and the heaviest of bars occupies the second verse. Normal II’s amazing production coupled with the insane verses make this one of the best songs to drop this year.
