No ($) Savant's musical journey did not start in a church or him being part of a crew but rather just his dad vibing with him in the car and just introducing him to music. All this lead him to get a guitar at the age of 9, and writing his own music at the age of 12 and from there it was a rabbit hole of music. As time went by he got into the hiphop scene by being introduced to the likes of Kendrick Lamar, J, Cole and Eminem. At the age of 15 it was all about him learning about his sound and producing music, he literally took a gap year to get this done. Then his first project titled “White Corolla” which was coupled by singles were released and then the rest is history. In terms of his musical inspirations the underground musicians that have been inspiring him are the likes of Femdot, Ausar, Dende and Jon Swaii. The commercial artists that inspire him are the likes of Kanye West, J. Dilla, Saba, Monte Booker and Isaiah Rashad. The plans he has for 2022 is to release his much anticipated project “Please World, Don’t Turn Me Into a Pessimist” which he states that it will be a laidback project were he reflects on the current times and were he is going as an artist. Definetely expect new fire singles every month and him producing more music not only for him but for other artists to. it will be a great year for him.
