NONIE THE QUEEN

There is a different kind of passion that comes with pursing music, the journey and the lessons truly make an artist who they are. The artist I would like to mention is Nontuthuko Mkhonza known as Nonie the Queen a remarkable woman and full of humor. She began singing from the age of 6, whenever she had the chance to sing, she would simply just go ahead whether it be a family gathering, choir. In addition, despite her undeniable talent she made a decision to further her education by studying modules such as Business and Artist Management, Music Publishing, Music in a Digital World, Social and Applied Psychology of Music, Music Law and Contracts. Moreover, she has extensive experience in live performances for instance she was part of the program on SABC 1 called Imizwilili as well being a backup vocalist for pioneers in the industry such as Lebo Sekgobela, Deborah, Takie Ndou just to name a few. Lastly, serving in the church musically for 8 years has proven to help her grow in her gift as well as be a blessing to others. I believe that she is on the right path to greatness, and may she continue to serve GOD and the people who love to hear the songstress sing.
