Potent is a peculiar musical producer who hails from Johannesburg who harness the old school/vintage sound that mainly draws in the conscious and the real hip-hop heads. He initially started at the age of 17 with the aim of growing an organic fan base which truly values his input and content. As one of the founding members of the Afrikan Space Hop which is considered a movement, a profound philosophical sound and a lifestyle he truly believes that he is allowing a space for creatives to be themselves. Do I believe he is an authentic artist with a vision for African hip-hop and originality yes I do and it is a vision that will only grow from here.
