THE STORY BEHIND THE MUSICAL MAESTRO BECOMING DURBAN'S MOST IMPORTANT VOICE: ROBIN THIRDFLOOR

Robin ThirdFloor is what I call a musical maestro who is true to his craft and also envisions Durban being the epicenter of the new wave sound as well as a fashion hub. He initially started his musical career in 2008 with a different name at the time, even though he decided to keep it private to us, (probably a f*cked up name). However he rebranded himself in 2014 with the name 'Robin ThirdFloor' and he has not looked back since and the sound changed as well. In terms of his inspirations the city of Durban is a constant source of creative energy for him as the lifestyle, fashion scene and the slang amongst the people. His mother is also a source of inspiration in terms of her beautiful soul and humility and he hopes to be like her with time in terms of her values. Recently he just released his limited edition merchandise which is in collaboration with Jägermeister which was a huge success and all the merch was sold out. To add, he is currently putting the finer details to his final installment to his three part album called 'Zithembe' which highlights the importance of Mental health issues (Depression, Bipolar etc.) He truly values genuine connections, like people who are loyal and authentic.

Lastly, he takes mental health seriously as he advocates awareness in his music and hence he created a podcast called 'Zinakekele'. As he is growing an organic fan base, please do stream and share his music. Let us not let this gem disappear from us.
