SoulDeep initially entered the realm of music in 2018 and five years later, she is still creating unique music which transcends the usual music out there. In terms of her musical inspirations she is drawn to the likes of India Arie, We Will Worship, Leonard Mapfumo, Day6, Judith Sephuma, Emeli Sande, Sauti Sol, Zahara, Fusion 5, Mwenje Mathole, VI The Law, Reap3r and Park Hyo Shin. As an artist that is always experimenting and trying to blend new sounds, she is constantly intrigued by her creative processes. Hence her plans for 2022 are direct as she is planning on releasing her EP/Album as well as a thesis on pop music in Zimbabwe, talk about a strange soul with brains.
