SPTMBR YNGSTR



Sptmbr Yngstr is a producer that is born and bred in the city of Johannesburg but moved to Cape Town in 2013 and began his journey at the age of 16. In addition, since he is on the production side of music his main genres or his strengths are found in Future beats, Trap, Electronic and Hip-Hop. Moreover, his father was his musical muse as he introduced him to old school sounds such as Jazz, Classical music, Hip-hop/rap, Disco and RnB/Soul which has allowed him to get a deeper understanding of different genres and tastes. He has been on different platforms to show case his mixing skills as well for instance he was a part of 'Bump Your Neck Radio#62, Chrysalism Radio #14, he was invited to do a mix on 5FM called 'Selective Styles' in which Kid Fonque was involved in. To add, he was part of the 'Rocking The Daisies' function with artists like Joe Kay, Sango, Austin Millz, and Skinny Macho. He has done quite a number of radio shows and his list is endless (literally he has done it all). Redbull studios invited him for studio sessions (six) which was an opportunity for him to meet with industry pioneers and network. An interesting fact is that he actually performed in the Remy Martin Producers Series (SA) he was first in the Cape Town region and then he was 2nd in the whole competition and this shows that he is on the right path to greatness. Do I believe his journey is only going to get better? yes I do and the sky is literally not the limit.
