SUBTLE.


There is something different about an artist that moves silently and makes an impact without trying. Most artists prefer to blow up quickly without forming an organic relationship with their fans. Joshua Reed is an artist that believes that when he makes music, he is not growing alone but he is growing with his fans around him. Music was always a part of him especially growing up in a church singing gospel hymns and playing the piano, his fond memories of music are truly a part of him. He initially started releasing music 3 years ago, and he continues to do so and finding his sound. The beginning of January he released his much anticipated EP which he hopes that the fans can relate and enjoy his latest offering. Influenced by artists like Anime, Smino and Kota the Friend you can already tell he values authentic music with a unique message. Lastly, growing up he used jam to the likes of Stevie Wonder and Luther Vandross, I guess he got the upbringing of most black children with just a touch of soul. I believe as an artist Joshua Reed will grow and he will truly have an organic following of fans and he will definitely be an artist to look out for.
