Swakhile Mashwama started his musical journey at the age of 10 and it was humble beginnings really especially the fact that he nurtured his gift at church. As time went on he decided to be a part of the school choir were he learnt most of his breathing techniques and vocal chord training. The gospel sound or rather the singing approach literally shaped his sound and 2016 was the year he decided to take a leap of faith and release his music. In addition, he used to get gigs within and around the city all the while studying, take about chasing your dreams by any means. He has always been a muso or rather a sound addict hence he was inspired by the likes of Seal, Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Lionel Richie. Currently he has been drawn to the sounds of Sam Smith, Kwabs and James Blake and many more. The plans he has are straight forward as he plans to take 2022 in his hands by releasing his album on the 1st of January which will also include mini-tour with the provinces of Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. Lastly expect out of this world visuals which will leave you captivated. Please do steam and share his music, and watch out for him next year he is on the prowl.
