SWAZY

The Hip-Hop scene in Zimbabwe has been brewing for a minute now, with new talent emerging and the youth expressing themselves in their craft, it is safe to say that we will be hearing fresh sounds soon. Swazy is one artist I want to shed a light on, especially the fact that she is a new wave rapper. She began rapping at the age of 12 and she only took hold of her potential only last year. In addition, she is inspired by the likes of Koffee and Kaash Paige, in terms of the sound they create as well as their sense of style. As she dabbles in the RnB and Soul sound she is still grounded in her roots in terms of Hip-Hop and she is determined to create a unique sound. Her upcoming plans are to release a mixtape which is called Escape if she does not change it and also her music being heard on all major platforms is a must for the rising rapper. After hearing her song 'Eucharist' it is safe to say that her talent will definitely be recognized.
