Music which tends to inspire and bring about a general feel good energy is slowly diminishing. However, one artist is truly challenging that and she has the vocals and the talent to back it all up. Towela is a songstress that embodies truth and serenity, and generally love. She initially started getting into music in 2015, over the years she would write music and perform songs. In 2019, she started working on her EP perfecting her sound for her fans to truly marinate in her sound and really just feel her aura. In addition, her music inspired is by the likes of Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Jill Scott, Lianne La Havas and Oliver Mtukudzi who have shaped her sound and have contributed tremendously to her music. Moreover, her new EP 'What Happened to Towela?' is coming out on the 8th of April do prepare ypurselves for a musical journey that you will never forget. In a world were almost all music sounds the same, it is refreshing to hear an authentic and raw sound which really is all about being 'true to self'.
